Refunds and Cancellations

A plain summary of how billing, cancellation, and refunds work. This page exists so procurement teams can cite it directly; the Terms of service remain the authoritative document, and section 8.3 governs if the two ever differ.

When you are charged

You are charged only after you choose a paid plan, enter payment details in Stripe, and confirm the checkout. You will not be auto-charged on the basis of a free demo or a school rollout planner estimate alone.

Monthly plans

Annual plans

School and district licences

School licences are subject to a separate written agreement and invoice schedule. Where that agreement states different billing, cancellation, or refund terms, the agreement prevails over this page and over section 8.3 of the Terms.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing on this page limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If the service is faulty, not fit for purpose, or materially not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund regardless of the terms above. Raise it with us at billing@math.foundation and we will work it through.

Price changes

We may change prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers are notified by email, and their price remains unchanged until the end of their current term.

Alpha status

Math Foundation is currently in alpha. Features may be added, changed, or removed. Where a plan is purchased, charges are real and the terms above apply. Do not adopt the alpha for any purpose that requires guaranteed availability, data durability, or regulatory certification.

How to cancel or request a refund

Email billing@math.foundation from the address on the account, or manage the subscription from your billing settings. Refunds, where due, are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
